Fundraising for Ukraine

**** Deadline for questions is 1st April, sign up is anytime during April, if you have missed a session or sign up too close for us to send the link you will receive all the recordings ****

6 live Q & A sessions offering you the opportunity to pose your most burning questions to an amazing line up of natural dyers and botanical printers. Not workshops but privileged access to 6 individuals who are highly regarded in their field.

Whether you’re a beginner with a very basic question or someone with more experience and a niggle you can’t quite get your head round no question is too “silly” we want them all!

To attend the sessions we would like you to donate to one of our chosen charities – All Non Governmental Organisations (NGO’s) – listed below. Donations to be a minimum of £35 ( 42€ / $45US / $58CAD / $62AUS / $363HK) (but any amount you feel appropriate above that will be welcomed!)

The chosen charities are –

Support Ukraine from Abroad An organisation in Ukraine providing medicine, first aid and food for Ukraine’s defenders; funds do not go to military equipment / supplies.

Aid Convoy for Ukraine (an organisation in Germany sending humanitarian relief and medical supplies into Ukraine)

UNICEF Ukraine Emergency Fund (humanitarian aid to children in Ukraine and refugee children in neighbouring countries)

The Halo Trust Ukraine (de-mining in Ukraine)

World Central Kitchen Chefs for Ukraine (food for internally displaced people in Ukraine and refugees in neighbouring countries)

(Click on the name and the link should open on their donate page.)

Send a receipt from your chosen charity to ndp4ukraine@gmail.com along with 1 question per session. You will receive an email with the zoom link to all six live moderated sessions. You will also receive a copy of the recordings afterwards. That over 9 hours of access to natural dye specialists.

There is a bonus – the 2 most generous donations will receive a printed scarf from Svetlana Sobko – produced using her latest technique.

The sessions start on Saturday April 2nd at 4.30 GMT with Caroline. There will be a moderator running the session and making sure no questions get missed.

The 2nd session is on Sunday 3rd at 18.30pm with Mel. Ask your general natural dye questions or very specific ones – her knowledge and guidance is second to none!

3rd Session is on Saturday 9th April at 16.30 GMT – Donna of the Janice Ford Memorial Dye Garden answering questions on dye plants and their care.

4th Session Saturday 16th April at 16.00 GMT Mar’yana answering questions on Egg Batik with natural dyes – well it is Easter Saturday!

5th Session Sunday 17th April at 15.00GMT it’s Me! Deb – answering your historical dye questions.

6th Session – To be announced.

Every penny will be going to charity – none of us are receiving anything other than the pleasure of answering your questions and helping you to become better dyers and printers … it was important to us all that we did something positive towards helping Ukraine.

Please join us and give generously!
