    A workshop at Haddon Hall

    Hello folks – been a while hasn’t it! Well here’s some news – when we get to July I’ll be back in action! First up is a new workshop at Haddon Hall in Derbyshire, booking is through them, so take a look at their page. You don’t need to know about natural dyes to join the workshop, there be something for everyone – it’s entitled “Natural Dyes Back to the Future” so there’ll be some historical stuff in the morning and then we’ll have future playtime in the afternoon. 4th July 10.30 – 4pm Really looking forward to sharing my joy of working with natural dyes again!

    2023 – A year completing a change

    What with selling up in France and moving everything across to Leeds finding workspace for the business and becoming part of a significant new EU funded project I think 2023 can class as an interesting one. Let’s start with discussing – or not discussing the research. I am absolutely loving my time at Leeds, for years I have wanted to really know what happens with the mordanting process and at last I am being allowed to delve into it in depth.     A few changes coming

    I’ve been very lax about writing posts here, sorry, that doesn’t mean that nothing is happening! So here’s an update! – We intend to start running online courses “live” these are currently in the planning stage, but will be listed here soon. There are so many ” introduction to” “beginner” “learn to” type courses – maybe you’d like to suggest some topics that would be interesting to cover? Due to the changes in VAT selling in / to Europe the shop will be temporarily closed before the end of the month until we have sorted how we can deal with this.
